The gospel is a love story of a peculiar love: the agape love. 

It has depth and width we cannot grasp, even if we try to.

It is the story about a Creator calling on His creation.

Why should a loving and all-through good and holy God choose to chase after humankind with love? Why should He choose to die for humankind to make a sacrifice for sins, just to get their hearts back to Him? Why not just ruin all He created and start over again? Why not take away humankind`s free will and force His love on them? Force them to live right and belong?

It is not love to do that.

Instead He aches and yearns after humankind, for people trapped in sins of their own and by others sins towards them, and He calls on their hearts…again and again.

 

The gospel is the good news for all people, of all nations and of all cultures. It is the Creator God, the Almighty One coming down as a human by His own Son; Jesus Christ. Living without sin, dying on the cross as the last and finishing sacrifice. And rising from death, as the first.

God, Himself, died to make a way for us to have eternal life. To accomplish the righteousness we cannot accomplish in human strength.

This way He calls us to become His. He calls us into life.

And it is all finished and prepared to receive.

All we have to do is to turn from our own ways, believe upon Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, and embrace the new life of love He gives us to live.
